The General Mills social campaign project allowed me to experiment with crossing over multiple demographics within each other. General Mills is one of the most iconic brands when it comes to cereal, with millions across the world eating it for breakfast. I wanted to convey that the ease and comfort that cereal can give you can be in any environment. I wanted to highlight hikers and backpackers, especially, to prove this.
This series of posters combines elements of both demographics to show both the chronological order of hiking up a mountain and making a bowl of cereal. Both processes intertwine, with the hiker pouring the cereal at different stages of the journey. Combining the cereal element with scenic views of nature captivates both audiences.
