“How can I make death feel so alive?” was the main question going into this project. Inspired by the dark, gritty aesthetic of “The Sopranos,” I curated a clothing line that captures the feeling of death and morbidity. K-Mag highlights and showcases the grueling depiction of mafia life through bright splashes of blood, the dark, tattered fabric of the suits, and the pale, almost ghostly appearance of the model. The layout and composition, as well as each piece of clothing worn by the model, were designed and put together by me.

The story I wanted to tell through this magazine was of the morbid life cycle of an enemy of the mafia. Instead of trying to style a posing, lively model, I wanted to focus on the model in a post-mortem state, setting them in scenes as if they were really being “taken care of”. All of the shots were taken in dark and moody settings, as well as the bloody and beat-up wardrobe, really showing the unsettling vibe I was trying to capture.
